Websites for communities
Multilingual, accessible websites for organisations that serve communities in several cities or countries, like the JReady site we built for the Jewish Agency.
// Industries / Jewish organisations
We build software, AI and websites for Jewish organisations: federations, JCCs, schools, community networks and the large organisations that have outgrown packaged synagogue and nonprofit tools. You get custom builds and integrations that fit how your community actually works, in English and Hebrew, from a team with offices in Toronto and Tel Aviv.

Not another packaged platform. The custom work that sits around and beyond one.
Multilingual, accessible websites for organisations that serve communities in several cities or countries, like the JReady site we built for the Jewish Agency.
Donor and member portals that show giving history, pledges and receipts, connected to the fundraising system you already use.
Integrations with platforms such as Blackbaud or Salesforce, so donors, members, families and events stop living in five separate lists.
Assistants that answer common member and donor questions, route requests to staff and draft follow-ups, with people approving what goes out.
Systems that know the Hebrew calendar: yahrzeit dates, holiday schedules and automated messages that wait until after Shabbat.
Registration, scheduling and back-office tools for schools, camps and programmes when the packaged option forces too many workarounds.

Most synagogues are well served by packaged software. This page is for the organisations that are not: federations, JCCs, day schools, community networks and national organisations whose needs grew past what a package was designed to do. You do not need another platform. You need the pieces around it built properly.
Packaged synagogue and nonprofit platforms do the common things well: membership, dues, a basic website, simple donations. The trouble starts when an organisation runs several programmes, entities or locations, each with its own data:
Replacing everything is rarely the answer. The answer is usually a set of focused custom builds and integrations that connect what you have, and fill the gaps the packages leave.
A donor portal gives supporters one place to see their gifts, pledges and receipts, update details and give again. We connect it to the fundraising system you already run, for example Blackbaud or Salesforce, so that system stays the source of truth. The same integration work joins your website forms, event registrations and internal tools to it, so one family is one record.
Our CRM development work covers this in depth, and our custom CRM vs off-the-shelf guide helps you decide what to keep and what to build.
Community staff spend a lot of time on the same questions: dates, times, forms, receipts, how to register. AI can answer many of these, route the rest to the right person and draft follow-ups for staff to approve. It can also help staff find information across policies, programme details and past correspondence. We run a CRM with an AI assistant on our own lead pipelines, so we build this kind of system with the practical problems in mind: what the assistant may say, when it hands over to a human, and what it must never do. Read AI for Jewish organisations and see AI implementation.
Many Jewish organisations serve English and Hebrew speakers, and many sites treat Hebrew as an afterthought. We build sites where both languages are first-class, with right-to-left layouts done properly. We also build to accessibility standards, including Israel’s IS 5568, so the site works for older members and people using assistive technology.
Calendar awareness matters more than most vendors realise. A system for a Jewish community should know the Hebrew date, schedule yahrzeit reminders correctly, show holiday hours, and hold automated emails and texts until after Shabbat or a chag. These are small details that tell your community the system was built for them. See web development.
We designed and developed JReady for the Jewish Agency: a multilingual website with solutions, tools and information to help communities around the world deal with Covid-19 and other emergencies. It had to work for very different communities, in several languages.
For the systems side, the same team built iBon, a management platform used by over 80 Aroma branches, where DevDino acts as the CTO (the story). We built the website for CET, an organisation developing educational platforms for schools and teachers, and OnePager, the content tool Keshet 12 uses to publish. Long-lived systems that many people depend on are what we do.
We have offices in Toronto and Tel Aviv. For Canadian organisations that means a local team in Eastern time, who can meet in person and understands Canadian privacy expectations under PIPEDA. For organisations with ties to Israel, it means engineers who read Hebrew and work in the Israeli week. The time difference also helps: work agreed in a Toronto afternoon moves forward in Tel Aviv overnight.
Pick the one problem that costs your staff the most time, whether that is donor data, member questions or the website, and tell us about it. We will look at the systems you already have and suggest the smallest build that fixes it. Good projects in this sector grow one solid piece at a time.

We dig into the goal, the users and the systems you already run, and agree on what success looks like.
Flows, interfaces and architecture, in prototypes you can click before a line of production code.
Short cycles, working software at every step, and AI tools in our own workflow to keep the pace up.
QA, performance and security checks, then a calm release with monitoring in place.
We stay on: measuring, fixing and shipping the next feature. Some clients have been with us for years.

No, and we do not try to replace one. Packaged synagogue software is a good fit for many congregations. We work with organisations that need more than a package gives them: custom portals, integrations between systems, AI for member and donor service, and bilingual websites.
Yes. We designed and developed JReady, a multilingual website for the Jewish Agency that gives communities around the world solutions, tools and information for dealing with Covid-19 and other emergencies.
Integration work is a core part of what we do. We connect websites, donor portals, forms and internal tools to the systems you already run, so your fundraising platform stays the single source of truth instead of one more list.
Use AI for the repetitive work, such as answering common questions, routing requests, summarising notes and drafting follow-ups, and keep people on every relationship that matters. Staff review what goes out. Our article on AI for Jewish organisations goes into detail.
Yes. We have an office in Tel Aviv and an office in Toronto, and we build interfaces where Hebrew and English sit side by side, with right-to-left layouts done properly.
The number of systems to connect, how clean your existing data is, the languages you need, accessibility requirements and how much ongoing support you want. We scope it with you before any work starts, and we can start with one focused piece, such as a donor portal.
